Orange Eye Makeup: Fall Inspiration

(All shadow colors were Wet N Wild.)

With Summer break half way over for us here in California,
the Fall school year will be upon us before we know it.
I am one of those people who can not wait for the fall.
I love my scarfs and jackets way too much to care about my summer tan.
Heck that is why they have spay tan.

I have already started dreaming of the beautiful fall colors.
I decided to play with a little bit of orange this time around.
I wanted to have harvest a feast of warm colors on my lids.

Products Used:

I wish I could tell you which colors I used, but with Wet N Wild each individual color is not labeled. I did use the browns and sand color from the "comfort zone palette"
orange was from the "flora palette"
(from the limited edition spring line).
Too Faced Eye Insurance
Wet N Wild Liquid Eyeliner in Black
Maybelline Falsies Mascara in Black
Loreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara
Wet N Wild Black Eyeliner pencil
Bundle Monster Eyelashes (eBay sorry I don't remember the name)

I really enjoy my Wet N Wild products.
They are extremely pigmented and last ALL DAY!
I never have to worry about them creasing.

Comfort Zone is really a great palette to have on hand.

Cheesy Veggie Ravioli

2 9oz pks of Frozen Cheese Ravioli
2 Zucchinis (chopped)
1 bundle of Asparagus (chopped)
1 white onion (chopped)
1 14oz can Italian Diced Tomatoes
3 Tbs Olives (diced)
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste

Parmesan Cheese for topping

Cook Raviolis as directed on the package. Usually only about 5 minutes. In another large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray cook zucchini and onion until tender, stir in canned tomatoes with juices and olives and seasoning. Allow mixture to boil then cover and reduce heat for about 5-7 minutes.

Drain you Raviolis and add to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir mixture until all ingredients are combined.

Serve topped with Parmesan cheese and garlic bread.

**********************************************************************************

I found this recipe in one of my Taste of Home low-cal cookbooks. I made some changes to add more filler to the dish. Also...note my lame-o garlic bread. Hey improvise and use whatcha got. THAT my friends is a hamburger bun. I will say they make pretty tasty garlic bread halves.

My very *FIRST* Chiq for Her box: Review

What What! have y'all heard about Chiq for Her!?!
Chiq for Her is like the Birchbox cool cat club.
But...CHIQ...
????
Ok so basically it is the the same concept.
Take a personality/beauty quiz...tell them your dirty beauty secrets.
Create a profile and pay a monthly membership fee of...
$10.00
Get a really girlie box delivered to your doorstep mid month.
Products ranging from samples to...FULL SIZE products.
Yep you read the correctamundo!
F.U.L.L size.

I found out about Chiq for Her from...
Insta-cool-est photo sharing site ever!
Instagram.
I clicked over the the main site and signed my little name onto the waiting list.
My notification came..."you have been accepted to the cool kids club"
(didn't really say that but I sure felt cool)
Gave them all my info and waited IMPATIENTLY for my first box to arrive.

AND HERE IT IS!

I was so excited to receive this little package.
I love getting my monthly surprise.
errrr...wait...I mean, monthly beauty boxes...
so this was another cool deal that I had to join in on.
I was AMPED to add another beauty box to my mailman's shoulders!

By the contents of my first box with Chiq for Her,
I can not wait to see what comes in next month.

I am going to say it...
Chiq for Her is giving Birchbox a run for the moneh!
Such great products...and it is stuff that most people can afford.
I mean come on...no everybody can spend $70 on a moisturizer.
I was so happy to see that enclosed was a Mary Kay product. LIKE WOAH dudes...
that is so awesome that they are introducing people to Mary Kay.
I mean this sort of beauty consulting is run by gals like you and I...
I am all about promoting other moms business...
and Mary Kay happens to be dear to me since I used to be a consultant.
TOOT TOOT and a WOOT WOOT for you Chiq for Her!
About TimeWise: This is a really great 3in1 age fighting cleanser and moisturizer.
I really need to get back into using it again.
It always left my skin glowing and looking fantabulous!
Nicole Nail Polish: sadly I have NO CLUE what color it is.  Chocolate? Expresso?
But I like it! It will be a perfect color for fall
The bottle is super mini...I just love it!
Dove body wash for sensitive Skin: This is a great one time use sample.
Again another affordable option for us bargain hunting mamas.
Burt's Bees Replenishing Lip Balm w/Pomegranate oil: YO! I love pomegranate!
I love Burt's Bees stuff! This was a huge HIT for me in my box!
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes: PERFECT! I am almost out!
Removes even water proof make up.

I am SO happy with Chiq For Her box.
I can not believe that they sent some full size products.
I will say...with all new things there is always room for improvement.
Perhaps a flyer or some sort of literature about the enclosed products would have been nice.
IE: the Nicole Polish. If I want to purchase the full size,
I will have to tote the bottle with me to the store. (whomp)
I do like the packaging better with Birchbox...since I know lots of us reuse the box.
But then again the products were better with Chiq for Her.

I am looking forward to continuing my relationship with Chiq for Her.

WIW...weekend shopping adventure with the mini

If you follow me on Twitter you already know that this past weekend I had the luxury of having the weekend with just me and my mini.
From Thursday evening until Sunday we were able to do WHATEVER we wanted.
No Hubby/Daddy around and no boys.
What ever were we to do?????
SHOPPING!

We headed out to the mall for some back to school shopping.
Let me tell you...
this girl wore me OUT!

Here are a couple photos I shared on Instagram from our shopping day/s.

Animal Print overload at Justice. So much really cool stuff, my girl was going cray cray...she even had some store clerks running around for her...literally clothes were flying out of the dressing room.
Mother/Daughter swatching at Ulta.
This was my girls FIRST Ulta experience and she went crazy in the polish section.
At one point she had 10 polishes in her bag...UM NO SISTA FRIEND!
She did make out with one full size polish and two minis...

We had a great weekend together.
Here are our shopping fashions...

Outfit:
Mint Green Mossimo Dress Goodwill NWT $5, Belt Rue 21 $7-9, Necklaces made by me,
Ring Cherry Auction (swap meet) $1
Dirty hair...messy bun...Shades, Wet Seal $7

Girlchild: Full Tilt Dress, Tillys $21, Feather Earrings Claires (gift),
Inital Necklace & Bow Cherry Auction $1, Shades, Tillys under $10 (can't remember sorry)

AND I am not sure what is up with the photo size.
Sorry, it won't let me enlarge them.
Taken with my phone...

Makeup Review...The Original 594 Sleek Palette

I have had this palette for a few weeks now and I must say...I LOVE the colors!
It is one of my more favorite Sleek Palettes to use.
I found this little guy on Ebay...for $15 with free shipping.
I was introduced to Sleek by some of my Instagram stalkings.
Read all the comments and reviews of this product line and decided to give it a shot.

This palette is The Original 594 Sleek Palette.
12 different shades, all very pigmented and the application is wonderful.
Swatches below are with NO base...that is straight out of the palette baby!

Price: Affordable, $15 from eBay. Unfortunately some Sleek products are unable to ship to the states directly from the Sleek website. eBay is the only place at this time to find certain palettes.

Texture: Very soft, flaked a little when I dipped my brush into the color.
(could have been my brushes bristles though)

Application: Wonderful. Very blendable and color is buildable.

Longevity: About 12+ hours. Even with a primer I did have some creasing. I have tried Too Faced Eye Insurance, NYX eye base and UD Eye Primer, so far the only thing that has worked for me with this palette is Jesse's Girl Eye Primer (Rite Aid)
Here is a look I created using The Original Palette.

Would I buy from this product line again?
Yes, the price is adorable. The color payoff is fantastic.
The only down fall for me is the longevity of the shadows.
I mean 12 hours is pretty good, but...

DIY Tween Ring

Recently my girl and I found ourselves with a full weekend alone.
No Fahjer or brothers to distract us.
It was quiet nice.
So we dolled up and headed to the Mall!

We spent a full day shopping and hanging out.
One of my tweens favorite stores is Claire's.
If you know Claire's, they have super adorable stuff, but it adds up.
We walked out of their spending $40 on a couple packages of earrings.
EEEEKKK!

Sis found these cute rings that were made from Polymer clay.
Fun little babbles on them like hearts, stars, mustaches and sunglasses.
I KNEW we could make them.
My girl loves to craft...just like her mama.
So we left the mall and headed to Michael's craft store.

With the initial start of this DIY it was a little more expensive then actually buying the ring.
BUT we have the supplies for any future projects.

Here is what we used.

E-6000 glue $4.99
2 Ring bases (ordered from etsy a while back..$5 for a 12pk)
Decorative Buttons $1.99 a pk
Jewelry clippers

Let's begin...

(clockwise) Use jewelry clippers to snip off the button loop from the button. (use a nail file to smooth the ridges if needed) Before you add any glue to the button resin, find the perfect placement for the ring base. Carefully add small drops of the E-6000 to the back side of the button resin and attach rings. Follow the instructions on the back of the E-6000 for ample drying time. We allowed 2 days to insure the bond was secure.

Then proceed with ROCK STAR status!
DIY Tween Ring!

My side of the bathroom...step into the darkside

For the past couple of weeks I have been working on organizing my side of the bathroom.
Well I pretty much have most of the bathroom, but we will say I play fair and only use "half".

I have a mucho grande stashe of beauty products.
I have been working on ways to store my stuff as well as simplify my everyday
routine by grouping products. Eliminating the rummaging through drawers looking for stuff.
I am a mom of three, so my daily routine consists of taking care of others,
leaving little time for me to pull myself together. (Getting dressed is a MUST for me!)
I have to make the most out of my time and looking for my makeup is not how I want to waste time. No MAM!

Over the course of last week I shared with you a few DIY beauty organization crafts.
If you missed them or are new here, go back and check them out.
Here, Here and Here.
I plan on showing you ONE more later on this week...so hang in there!

For now here is a look into how things are coming along.

(Clockwise) My whole space...wish I had a actual Vanity, for now this works...but there is a huge home blessing in our future...I can feel it! I have a 3 drawer Sterilite container from Target $14.99, each drawers contents. Drawer 1: beauty samples and randomness Drawer 2: Makeup Sponges and swabs, facial products Drawer3: Lashes Lashes and Lashes. Random basket I received from a gift, saved it and used it to store my individual blushes. A plastic container I re purposed for my individual shadows.
(Clockwise) Majority of my eye shadows stored on top of the Sterilite container. My DIY Lippies Caddy, My Palette storage from a file divider I purchased at Target for under $5. My DIY makeup palettes. A little caddy I found at the Cherry Auction *NEW* for $1, brought it home and cleaned it (just in case) added a little zebra tape too! Hold all my pencils and some foundation.

(Clockwise) More area, dirty brushes from today's makeup application. A binder that I call my "style file" holds all some of my favorite looks from magazines and other looks I want to try. My accessory display, a DIY project from the past. My GNARLY turning caddy my honey bought me from Harbour Freight under $20. I love this thing. Perfect for my polishes and everyday hair products. I also store more small palettes and bronzers on there. My acrylic container from Target $10. Holds my brushes and other GO-TO products. I also stacked small containers inside of it for more storage.

For the most part I am pretty happy at the way everything cleaned up.
It has been easier getting ready in the morning and I know exactly where everything is.

BH Cosmetics "Party Girl" Palette Review/Look

It's finally Friday!
For all of you out in the work field...start that happy weekend dance.

Last week I ordered the Limited Edition BH Cosmetics Party Girl Palette.

Price was very affordable $ 17.95 regular price.
I did get it on sale for $14.36

Palette measures 9"x4". A good sized palette but not too bulky for travel.
This palette consists of a mixture of 40 trendy shades.
A great mixture of matte and shimmer shades, making it easy to a a little flirt to your lids.

When I first opened the package my eyes went directly to the YELLOW.
My thoughts were,
"WOWZA that yellow is bright!"
I knew instantly I was going to have to come up with a LOOK to pull off that yellow.
The packaging is very nice. Sleek and easy to store.

All the colors are extremely pigmented and easy to apply.
With any shadow I would recommend using an eye primer to your lids.
With this particular palette your eyes are sure to pop.
The colors are just that awesome.

I found the shades very easy to blend.
The application was nice. I didn't have to continually work the product to get it to set.
No excessive amounts of shadow on my cheekbones. Everything stayed on my lid.

To me this palette is great for Brown eye'd beauties.(but not limited to)
There are a lot of colors that will play out your eyes.
I did not swatch all the colors...my arm is not that big,
but I did want to show you a mixture of the colors.

Here I used the eye catching YELLOW, Gold, a tan and a deep brown.
All colors are from the Party Girl Palette.

Great palette!
Great price!
Great quality!
Great addition to any makeup collection.

You can order your Party Girl Palette from the BH Cosmetics WEBSITE.
OR enter in my giveaway.

A little THANK YOU for being so awesome!
I really do appreciate my readers/followers.
Y'all sit through my excessive ramblings.
MWAH!

Fantastic Four! Organix Macadamia Oil Hair Products & Review

Today I am sharing my Fantastic Four.

If you didn't know, I used to be a artificial blonde.
I had one terribly bad dye job (salon done) and had to have THREE more just to repair the damage.
For almost a full year I bleached and re bleached my hair.
My hair was beyond over processed...it was straw.
The upkeep on bleached hair and the damage was more then I could handle.
So I decided to go back to my nappy roots...dark.
Now I have been doing my best to repair my hair and get it back to the silky shine status.

Last weekend I made it to ULTA for my VERY FIRST TIME EVER!
Yep...hanging my head in shame...I didn't even know we had one in FRESNO.
I tortured myself for a little over an hour walking up and down the aisles with my two boys.

I was originally looking for another Macadamia hair care product I have been hearing great reviews about. Needless to say...I didn't find it there. I will also mention that I found out it is sold at Target (my other heaven) but for $30 a bottle. EPPPP...Myocardial infarction!!!! Out of my budget.
What I did find at Ulta, were THESE...
AND they were BOGO...woot woot!

Priced $7.99 each and then the BOGO 1/2 off.
This is what my bank account likes...
ALL FOUR BOTTLES FOR LESS then what I would have paid for the other...ONE BOTTLE!

I am loving the results of these babies.
So needless to say THIS IS MY FANTASTIC FOUR for the week.
This week I have had to wash my hair EV-ER-Y day because of my sweaty workout routines...
so I have been using this treatment daily.
Over the course of 4 days I have already noticed a difference in my hair texture.
It smells great too...or maybe its my pheromones. *wink*

Products:
Macadamia Shampoo: Lather and rinse
Macadamia Conditioner: Use after shampoo wash. Leave in 3-5 minutes and rinse well.
(I always rinse my hair in hot water and then cold water to lock in moisture)
Macadamia Intense Moisture Mask: After shampoo wash, apply generously to hair, set for 3-5 minutes OR for really brittle hair 20-30 minutes (under a shower cap) rinse thoroughly.
Macadamia Dry Styling Oil: Styling serum for wet or dry hair. Smooths end and leaves strands silky soft.

The dry styling oil seems to have the same results as my favorite CHI styling oil. I have been faithful to my CHI for years...but I like the price difference with the Organix.

The scent of these products is not over powering. It does have a subtle scent to it.
Product did not leave my hair heavy or oily.
Fact it left my hair feeling soft and easy to comb.
Right out of the shower I was able to run a wide toothed comb through it.
During blow drying I didn't fuss with tangles and my hair was easy to style.

I honestly really like these products.
If after one week of using them I am seeing results in my hair texture.
I can not wait to see the outcome after a month.

THESE my friends...
are what I am obsessing over this week.

*I will also mention, you can find this product at CVS if you do not have an ULTA near you*

July Birchbox Review

Hey Folks!
I hope this week has been super for you.
Here in CenCal the weather has dropped TWENTY degrees...I am LOVING it.
Finding myself outside more this week then I have been all summer.

Which leads me to talk about my July Birchbox.
This month the theme was the 5 senses.
See, Hear, Taste, Touch and Smell
sounds like summer to me....

I have to say, I am pretty happy with my box this month.
I got a few items that were pretty cool. Some new stuff to try...
There were some HIT items and some MAJOR MISS items.

Birchbox goodies!

1. "Hello" by Harvey Prince: Full Bottle $26-$55. A scent blend of Meyer Lemon, White grapefruit and Pink Plumeria. This perfume smelt really nice. A citrus clean smell...perfect for the summer. I am thinking of purchasing the full size bottle. The hubs approves. This was a HIT for me.

2. AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask: Full size $30. A detoxifying face mask loaded with Dead Sea Mud and Kaolin White Clay. Insert reads "detoxifies skin in the amount of time it takes to catch a commerical break." Thoughts: I tried this product...the "Dead Sea Mud" sounded kind of questionable to me. I think I am used to my mint face masks, so when my "two minutes" were up, I didn't feel the freshness as I would if I used another brand...I wanna smell CLEAN! word!  I honestly didn't notice any difference in my skin afterwards...I did notice that it was a little more of a scrub process to remove the mask. A slimy feeling...perhaps it was the "dead sea mud" This was a MISS for me...no likey.

3. Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Fade Proof Fluide; $24 full size bottle.
(GOOD GRIEF that is a mouth full.) A finishing gloss that protects hair from fading and UV rays while still keeping hair soft and strong. OOOOOH defiantly interested in trying this product. May be a good investment during the summer with all the sun and chlorine exposure. This is a HIT for me.

4. Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner. $15. A skinny felt tip eyeliner. Thoughts: Similar to Revlons Colorstay felt tip eyeliner, except it is a couple dollars more. Personally I like a bargain...and if the results are the same...then I am going to save my moneh. I am extremely glad I got this item
(caus I am a makeup hoarder...there I said it) but I wouldn't buy it in the future. This was a HIT/MISS for me.

5. Tea Forte' Minteas. 3 tins for $9.95. Tea-infused Mints for a refreshing pick me up. Thoughts: HOLY HECK! I thought I was eating soap. This is pure punishment. I did not get a refreshed feeling...I wanted to gargle pinesol for a better taste. Good Gravy! Oh BUT you KNOW I fed a couple to the minions...their faces were priceless. Ahhh...parenting at its finest y'all. Huge MISS for me...us.

6. Earbuds: A little Birchbox bonus! WOOT! Neon colored earphones...awww shucks...THANKS! Just what I needed for my treadmill routine. I really dig these babies...cute color and they actually stay in my ears. This was a HIT for me...

For those of you not familiar with Birchbox...
Birchbox is the best way to discover new grooming, beauty and lifestyle products.
Sample top products from high-end brands, get expert advice,
buy new favorites and earn points with every purchase.

Each month your box is hand picked with samples and products,
then delivered to your door for a monthly fee of $10.

Sounds like a great idea right?
This is only my second month with Birchbox and so far I am enjoying it.

Until next months box...
love, peace and hair grease!

WIW...Texas Women's The Ali Dee Collection

Oh how I love reality T.V.
I am a reality T.V junkie. I love them all...
Pawn Stars,  ALL the Housewives
Big Rich Texas, Texas Women...the list goes on.

Sadly I missed out on Season One of Texas Women on CMT.

Maybe I was wrapped up in some other reality show at the time.
This season I jumped right into it.
I really LOVE this show.
I think I am a Texan at heart...I probably belong over there.
Big Hair, Gawdy accessories, and I love me some cowboy boots.
The girls on Texas Women are all super fantastic...each of them I can relate to in some sort of way.
Brooke is hilarious!
Anna is one of the boys...just like me.
Hannah is fun and entertaining.
Cicly is a riot (not pictured above)
but
I would have to say my favorite would have to be Ali Dee.
She is sweet, funny and just a down to earth kinda gal.
Watching the show this season Ali was trying to get her career started.
With the making of her music video and the launch of her clothing line.
Which is what this post is really about...
Gotta help a sista out...
So I purchased one of her shirts...representing here in CALI!

Normally most of my clothing is thrifted.
Nothing about this outfit is thrifted...shame on me.

Outfit:
Good Hearted Women Tee, The Ali Dee Collection $49.00.
(if you have a little bit of a chest...order one size up ladies)
Lace Ruffle Skirt, Wet Seal $20 (or less last summer)
Sandals, Payless (last summer purchase)
Bull Belt/Buckle, Rue 21 $9-10

This may be one of my more expensive outfits but I LOVE it!
I love my shirt! It is super comfy and embellished with swarvoski crystals.
I was so excited when my package arrived.
There was a handwritten note from the Ali Dee Team.
THAT IS EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Ali Dee ***ALSO*** just came out with an accessory line.

I can not wait to get one of them.
I have my little heart set on this one...

PHALEASE Mr. Santa I swearz I have been a good girl!
I haven't even donated any of my honeys clothes without his permission...this month.
***saint like right here***

You know what would ROCK my boots!
If we could get Ali Dee's Collection here in CenCal...Fresno/Clovis to be exact.
Come on BOOT BARN...make this gal squeal!

Depoting Your Lipstick...Space Saver Storage Idea!

Here we are friends...My last beauty DIY project...as promised.
This was my final hoorah in reorganizing my makeup stash.

Moving on to my lippies.
Last week I made the Lipstick Caddy, this week I made a Lipstick...something or other. Not sure what to call it just yet, but it's pretty awesome. This project saves me some space, plus my lippies have a safer way to travel. Which we have been doing a lot of lately.

I decided to depot my Wet N Wild lipsticks because the lipstick tubes are not of good quality.
I was having a little bit of a hard time keeping the lids on or struggling to open them.
I didn't want to run into the risk of potentially ruining the actual lipstick during my struggle.
I knew I wanted to make some sort of Lippie Palette...
cause clearly palettes have been my thing lately.
Then I didn't want to melt my lipsticks into the pill container like a lot of people do.
I needed something a little cuter and convenient for my lifestyle.

So I found these bead containers at Michael's. $4.99...then I used my 40% off coupon.
So lets dive right in to the project

You will need:
Lipsticks
Spoon
Tissue
Candle/Matches
Bead Containers
Labels/pen
knife

(Clockwise) The 9 jar bead container from Michael's $4.99, Using my labels, I labeled each container with the Lipstick name. Using my knife I cut a small portion of the lipstick off and placed it on the spoon under the open flame. Do not depot the whole lipstick at one time, the product will overflow off of the spoon, this is a two/three step process depending on how much lipstick is in your tube.

(Clockwise) It only takes a minutes for the lipstick to start melting. Be cautious not to burn yourself or the product. I continuously keep the spoon moving in a swirling motion. Once the product is fully melted down release into the bead jar. Continue this process until you have fully depoted your lipstick tube. I even scooped out the tube...waste nothing. Use your napkin to clean your spoon after every lip color to avoid a funky array of colors during melting process.

My end result. This took me a little over an hour to do both cases.
Now I have customizable palettes for travel.
Smaller storage for my cosmetic bag and they stack nicely on the counter or in a drawer.

I am loving all the organization that is happening in the bathroom!

Fantastic Four week #3

Hey y'all! It's Thursday, my Fantastic Four Showcase day!
This has been a great week for me. HOT but great!

I have managed to completely organize my side of the bathroom (more on that in a later post)
Start working on my sisters baby shower stuff...and
Consistently did FOUR miles on the treadmill...(WOOT!)

Let me just say...
Fitness has been a huge flop for me lately.
I have fallen out of my workout routine ever since
I forced myself to stop freaking out over my weight.
I didn't want to STOP the fitness, but it sorta just happened.
Sadly I gain in a blink of an eye...and have packed on the poundage over the last month.
Here I go back to the grind. So I have been hitting the treadmill like a beast.
Just reminding myself that I need to tone back up, NO freakishly calorie counting and stressing!

So with that said...I will explain why I am loving the first item...

(Clockwise)

Mi0 Liquid water enhancer: $3.99 (I think)I love these little guys! My girlfriend and I had lunch one day and she pulled one of these bad boys out and added it to her water. I was like ,"uh yo what is that?" Tried it, loved it, bought it, constantly use it! Mi0 is a ZERO calorie water enhancer. For me water is BLAH...I hate it. Ever since my prenatal ultrasounds the taste of water gags me. Using the Mi0 helps me get through the day still drinking my 2 liters of water. I can add a few drops to my water and be a happy little camper. I have introduced this to my kiddos too. At restaurants it is AWESOME! When I do not want them to have POP, I can order a water and just add this to their cups and all are happy.

50 Shades of Grey: Do I really have to explain why I love this so much? Just read it if you haven't already.

EOS Lip balm in Strawberry Sorbet: $3.99 I found this at Target. 100% Natural 95% Organic lip balm that is packed with antioxidants, rich in Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jajoba Oil. I love the design of the balm, fun packaging. Smells great with a hint of flavor. My tween loves it, fact she has stolen it from me a couple times. I use this every day, morning after brushing my teeth and before bed. LOVE LOVE LOVE it!

Atomic Fire Balls: A blast from my past! I used to eat these all the time as a kid. Remember when Costco used to sell them by the jars?!? Gosh the good old days...During our last out of town trip, one of the Soccer Moms offered me one. I couldn't believe they still made these. Guess where I found these....uh DOLLAR TREE! I kinda contradict myself with the 4 miles on the treadmill, but oh well. I love these bad boys! MUY CALIENTE!

There ya have it!
Hope I have inspired you to try something new.
I know I have a list of things that I want to try, thanks to my YouTube Vloggers.

What are you loving this week?

WIDN...baby shower planning!

Ok guys so I am going to be an AUNTIE YAY!
Well those of you who don't know, my "Bigger Baby Sister" is having her first child.
I say bigger because she towers over me but she is the youngest.

Being this is my sisters first baby there must be a baby shower. Well duh...
So I have taken it upon myself to throw this shindig.
I have come up with the idea...Shabby Chic.
Big shocker right there I know.
At first she wanted a Candy Land theme...ok that's cute, lots of ideas were flowing.
Then she told me the nursery was going to be Shabby Chic, I about died with excitement!
Just my thang...if you know what I mean.

So I stalked my favorite idea factory...Pinterest.
The ideas are endless. I am so excited!

Can I just share with you some of the ideas that we have going here?
Idea here is to use a similar tree and make it a wishing/prayer tree for baby. Tags will be made for guest to leave a prayer or wish for the baby and parents.

We are going to be using the fabric streamer effect over the gift table.

Instead of games we will be having a craft corner for guest decorate onesies for baby.

I mean..really, need I say anything. This whole idea I just love!
I have just about everything to make this set up happen.

Cutesie doilie garland that WILL be happening.

Lots and Lots of flowers and Birdcages

It has been a little while since I have been able to plan a party. Especially one so fun!
I am super excited about this shower, but more excited for little Autumn to get here.

Well I don't want to spoil the whole shower.
Gotta save some of my ideas for a later post.
BUT I Will share with you what I am currently working on...

Until then...time to get crafting.
